Today is 11 September. This day is associated with different memories. One memory is from 1893, when Swami Vivekananda gave the message of cosmopolitanism in Chicago and the second is the 9/11 terrorist attack, when world fraternity was the biggest injury. Today is another special thing of the day. Today is the 75th birthday of a personality who has dedicated his entire life to organize the society, strengthen the spirit of equality and fraternity by following the mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

Today is the birthday of such respected Mohan Bhagwat ji in the Sangh Parivar, who is addressed with reverence as the ultimate revered Sarsanghchalak. It is a pleasant coincidence that this year the Sangh is also celebrating its centenary year. I wish Bhagwat ji heartfelt and pray that God should give him longevity and good health.

I have a very deep connection with Mohan Bhagwat ji’s family. I had the privilege of working closely with his father, late Madhukarrao Bhagwat ji. I have also written in detail about Madhukarrao ji in my book Jyotipunj. Along with advocacy, Madhukarrao ji was devoted to the work of nation building throughout his life. In his youth, he spent a long time in Gujarat and laid a strong foundation of Sangh work.

Madhukarrao ji’s inclination towards nation building was so strong that he continued to constantly create his son Mohanrao for this great work. A Parasmani Madhukarrao prepared another Parasmani as Mohanrao.

Bhagwat ji’s entire life has been a sustainable inspiration. He became a pracharak in the mid -1970s. Hearing the word preacher in normal life, there is an illusion that there will be a person who is a promotional person, but those who know the Sangh know that the pracharak tradition is a characteristic of the Sangh work. In the last 100 years, thousands of young men and women filled with patriotic inspiration have renounced their family and dedicated the entire life to the nation through the Sangh Parivar. Bhagwat ji is also a strong axis of that great tradition.

Bhagwat ji took over the responsibility of the campaigner when the then Congress government imposed emergency on the country. At that time, Bhagwat ji, as a preacher, continuously strengthened the anti-emergency movement. He worked for many years in rural and backward areas of Maharashtra, especially Vidarbha. In the 1990s, many volunteers still remember the works of Mohan Bhagwat ji as an All India Physical Head. In this period, Mohan Bhagwat ji spent the invaluable years of his life in the villages of Bihar and remained dedicated to the task of empowering the society.

In the year 2000, he became Sarkaryavah and here too Bhagwat ji handled every difficult situation with ease and accuracy with his unique working style. In 2009, he became Sarsanghchalak and is still working with extreme energy. Bhagwat ji always kept the original ideology of Rashtra I paramount.

Being a Sarsanghchalak is not just an organizational responsibility. It is a sacred belief, which has been carried forward by the generation-by-generation from visionary personalities and has given direction to the moral and cultural paths of this nation. Extraordinary individuals have played this role with personal renunciation, clarity of purpose and unwavering dedication to Maa Bharati. It is a matter of pride that Mohan Bhagwat ji has not only done full justice with this huge responsibility, but has also added his personal power, intellectual depth and gentle leadership to it.

Bhagwat ji has a comfortable association with the youth and hence he has inspired more and more youth to work union. They keep in direct contact with people, and keep communicating. It has been a great feature of Mohanji, the desire to adopt the best work system and an open mind towards the changing times. If we see in a broader context, then Bhagwat ji’s term in the 100 -year journey of the Sangh will be considered as the period of the most change in the Sangh. Whether it is a change of uniforms, changes in Sangh education classes, many such important changes were held under his direction.

Mohan Bhagwat ji’s efforts are specially remembered during the Korona period. In that difficult time, he gave the direction to the volunteers to do social service while keeping safe and emphasized to increase the use of technology. Under his guidance, the volunteers provided all possible help to the needy, set up medical camps everywhere. He developed arrangements by prioritizing global challenges and global ideas. We also had to lose many volunteers, but Bhagwat ji’s inspiration was such that the strong will of other volunteers did not weaken.

Earlier this year, during the inauguration of Madhav Eye Hospital in Nagpur, I said that the Sangh is like Akshayavat, which gives energy to national culture and consciousness. The roots of this renewable tree are very deep and strong because of its values. The dedication with which Mohan Bhagwat ji is engaged in furthering these values inspires everyone.

Mohan Bhagwat ji has been a special strength on the continuous use of the power of the Sangh for social welfare. For this, he has paved the way for punch change. In this, nation building has been given priority by following self -realization, social harmony, civil etiquette, family enlightenment and environmental sources. Every Indian who thinks for the country and society will definitely get inspiration from these sources of punch change.

Every worker of the Sangh wants to see the dream of Bharat Mata, a Vaibhav, is coming true. To fulfill this dream, the clear vision and concrete action that is required, Mohan ji is full of both these qualities.

Another great feature of Mohan ji’s nature is that he is soft -spoken. They also have amazing ability to listen. This feature not only depths their approach, but also brings sensitivity and dignity to their personality and leadership.

Mohan ji, has always been in favor of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. Bhagwat ji is involved with full enthusiasm in the celebration of India’s diversity and India land adorning many cultures and traditions. By the way, very few people know that Mohan Bhagwat ji is also interested in music and singing among his busyness. He is also proficient in various Indian instruments. His interest in reading is clearly visible in many of his speeches and dialogues.

Recently, as much successful mass movement in the country, whether Swachh Bharat Mission or Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mohan Bhagwat ji inspired the entire Sangh Parivar to fill the energy in these movements. I know the efforts related to the environment and their dedication to pursue sustainable lifestyle. Mohan ji is also very strong on self -sufficient India.

In a few days, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be 100 years old on Vijayadashami. It is also a pleasant coincidence that the festival of Vijayadashami, Gandhi Jayanti, Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth anniversary and the centenary year of the Sangh are coming on the same day.

This is a historical opportunity for millions of volunteers around India and world. We are good luck of the volunteers that we have a visionary and hard -working Sarsanghchalak like Mohan Bhagwat ji, who are leading the organization at such a time. His life journey from a young volunteer to Sarsanghchalak reflects his loyalty and ideological perseverance. The Sangh work is continuously expanding under his leadership by making complete dedication to the idea and timely changes in the arrangements.

I wish for Mohan Bhagwat ji’s long and healthy life dedicated to the service of Maa Bharati. Many best wishes to him on birthdays.
