Use in house cleaning
You can use old pillow covers for house cleaning. For example, if you have to clean things like windows, doors, cupboards, mirrors, furniture, silver ornaments, then instead of buying new fabric from the market, use pillow covers. You can also use old pillow covers to clean kitchen slab and gas stove. After cleaning, wash it and keep it dry so that it remains suitable for next time use.

For washing delicate clothes
If you have some clothes in your house which are very delicate then old pillow covers can come in handy. Like clothes with lace work, clothes made of silk fabric, soft sweaters, then put them in an old (washed) pillow cover and put them in the washing machine to wash. However, you should just keep in mind that your pillow cover should be such that it does not leave color and its fabric absorbs water and soap easily.

You can cut the old pillow cover into strips, sew them together lengthwise, braid them like a braid and then stitch it and join it into a square or round shape. In this way your doormat will be ready or you can sew one pillow cover by placing it on top of the other. This will prepare a slightly thick cushion, which you can spread at different places in the house, so that dirt does not spread. Apart from this you can prepare small bags. You can prepare a bed for your pet like cat or dog.

If you have some linen clothes, but do not have a packet to keep them, then you can use old pillow covers, you can keep clothes made of linen fabric like sarees, kurtas, bed sheets fixed in these covers. With this, your wardrobe will look quite organized and your clothes will also not get spoiled. Similarly, you can also keep brocade clothes in pillow covers.
