“It was my great honor to destroy a very large drug-carrying submarine that was headed to the United States through a well-known drug trafficking route,” Trump said on his Truth social platform. He further said that this submarine was loaded with fentanyl and other narcotics. Trump further said that if this submarine had reached America, the lives of at least 25,000 Americans would have been in danger. He said both smugglers have been sent to their countries, where they will be arrested and prosecuted.

Colombian President confirmed the arrival of the suspects
According to Trump, this attack is part of the US military’s ongoing campaign to stop the supply of drugs from Latin America to the US. There have been US attacks on at least six ships, mostly speedboats, since September. At the same time, Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed that the Colombian suspect has been sent back home. “We are glad that he is alive and that he will be prosecuted according to the law,” Petro said on social media platform X.
Experts said the murders were wrong
