After introducing Arjun Vijay as Ashwin, Dhanush has dropped yet another intriguing character poster of senior actor Sathyaraj as Vishnu Vardhan from Idli Kadai.
The recent reveal has left fans super excited, with many praising the new drop of the upcoming film. Ahead of the film’s release on October 1, Dhanush has unveiled two posters of the film, and now fans are eagerly waiting for his own character poster.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Dhanush wrote, “Dearest sathyaraj sir as vishnuvardhan #idlikadai.”
In the character poster, Sathyaraj is seen in an intense look, donning black attire, as he sits over a throne and contemplates something. The actor’s expressions are leaving the fans hooked and they are loving his character poster from the film.

About Idli Kadai
Idli Kadai is an upcoming Tamil-language action drama written, directed, and co-produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films, in association with Dawn Pictures. The film stars Dhanush alongside Nithya Menen, with Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R. Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani, and Rajkiran in supporting roles. The project was officially announced in September 2024, initially referred to by its working titles D52 and DD4, signifying Dhanush’s 52nd film as an actor and his fourth directorial venture. The official title, Idli Kadai, was revealed on September 19, 2024, just two days after the initial announcement made by Dawn Pictures, a newly launched production house headed by Aakash Baskaran.
The film features music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Kiran Koushik, and editing by Prasanna GK. Idli Kadai is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 1 October 2025.
