ICC Rankings: Number one chair snatched from Rohit Sharma, ICC considered this batsman the best

ICC Rankings: ICC has released a new ranking list on Wednesday 19 November, in which many changes have been seen. The number one position has been snatched away from Rohit Sharma, while Bumrah is still at number one. New Zealand batsman has overtaken Rohit.

ICC New Rankings: The International Cricket Council has released new ODI batting rankings, in which Indian player Rohit Sharma has had to leave the number one spot. Kiwi batsmen have come at the top of the list. Yes, till now Rohit, who was at number one, has slipped to second place and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell has come in his place. Daryl has become the second Kiwi player to achieve first position in batting.

Rohit Sharma’s dominance in ODI ends

Rohit Sharma’s run as the number one ODI batsman has ended. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell had scored a brilliant century in the ODI against West Indies, the result of which was visible. On the basis of this batting, he has topped the ICC Men’s ODI batting rankings. He hit the seventh century of his career against the Caribbean team. On that basis, he left Hitman behind and got the first place in his name. Not only this, he became the second Kiwi batsman to do so. Earlier in 1979, Glenn Turner had achieved this position.

Jasprit Bumrah became the number one bowler

Even though hitman Rohit Sharma is out of number one position, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is at the first position. There has been an increase in his ICC ranking after taking 5 wickets in the first innings of Kolkata Test. Kuldeep Yadav has come at number 13 in this list, while Ravindra Jadeja is at 15th place. Harmer, who bowled well in the first Test against India, has also moved to 24th position, which till now was at 44th. Temba Bavuma has come to 5th position in terms of batting, while Shubman Gill is at 11th.

2 players of Pakistan benefit

After the ODI series against Sri Lanka, two players of Pakistan have also benefited in the latest ICC rankings. Right-handed batsman Mohammad Rizwan has come at 22nd position, while Fakhar Zaman has taken the 26th spot. Ashwin bowler Abrar Ahmed is ranked 9th, while Haris Rauf has reached 23rd. All these players have performed brilliantly in the last several ODI series, the result of which has been given to them by the ICC.
