Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan started his acting career with Khushi Kapoor in the film ‘Nadaaniyaan’. The film, directed by debutant Shauna Gautam, flopped badly after its release on Netflix and faced heavy trolling and criticism. Now Ibrahim Ali Khan told the reason for the flop of his debut film. And he himself admitted that it was a very bad film.
Ibrahim Ali Khan told how trolling affected him
Talking about the failure of his debut film ‘Nadaaniyaan’, Ibrahim Ali Khan said, ‘Till some time ago, everyone was waiting for my launch, and after Nadaaniyaan, the hype diminished a lot. People trolled me continuously. People started saying that he simply wouldn’t be able to do it. This is a huge low and I feel bad just thinking about it. I will say straight away that it was a really bad movie.
Ibrahim Ali Khan further explained how badly trolling affected him. “It was really bad,” Ibrahim said. It became a kind of culture that ‘Hey, let’s troll that film’. Some people were trolling it just because they heard that someone else was trolling it. It was wrong, but if I give a blockbuster film in future, I want the same reaction. People should go crazy after me.

Did Ibrahim Ali Khan rush his debut?
Ibrahim Ali Khan says, ‘Obviously, I was working very hard, like I’m still working hard on my speaking problem, but in a way, I think I rushed into that film. When I started shooting for it, I was 21 years old. Other people around me were debuting at the age of 26, 27, 28 and now I think I could have been more conscious of the scale of what was about to happen. After the film ‘Nadaaniyaan’ directed by Shauna Gautam, Ibrahim was seen in the film ‘Sarzameen’. Next, Ibrahim will make his theatrical debut with ‘Dileer’, a sports drama film directed by Kunal Deshmukh.
