IBPS RRB PO Clerk Recruitment 2025: There is great news for candidates dreaming of jobs in the banking sector. The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for RRB PO and Clerk Recruitment 2025 (Regional Rural Bank). With this, the online registration process has also started from September 1. Interested candidates can apply on ibps.in or from the direct link given below. Education qualification post wise
Educational qualification post wise is different in which-
1. Office Assistant (Clerk): Graduation from a recognized university, knowledge of local language, basic knowledge of computer.
2. Officer Scale I (PO): Graduation, agriculture, IT, management, law, economics or accountancy will get priority in any subject. Local language should have knowledge and computer understanding.
3. Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Graduation will get priority to at least 50 percent marks, banking, finance, agriculture, IT, law, management. At least 2 -year -old bank or financial institution should have an officer experience.
4. Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer):
IT officer- 1 year experience with graduation in computer, IT, electronics.
One year experience with CA from Chartered Accountant-ICAI.
Law Officer- 2 years advocacy with a degree in law (50 percent marks) or experience in bank, financial institution.
Treasury Manager- 1 year experience with MBA (Finance) or CA.
Marketing Officer- 1 year experience with MBA (marketing).
Agriculture Officer: 2 years experience with graduation (50 percent marks) in agriculture, dairy, animal husbandry, forestry etc.
5. Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Graduation (50 percent marks), banking, finance, IT, agriculture, law, management priority. At least 5 -year officer level experience.
What is the age limit to apply?
The age limit of the applying candidates should be as given below by 1 September 2025-
- Office Assistant (Clerk): 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale I (PO): 18 to 30 years
- Officer Scale II (Manager): 21 to 32 years
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): 21 to 40 years
- Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules, in which different rules are applicable in SC, ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PWD 10 years and other categories.
IBPS RRB PO Clerk Recruitment Important Date and Details
- Prelims Admit Card: Will be released in November-December.
- Prelims Examination: Will be held in November-December 2025.
- Prelims Result: Will be declared in December 2025 or January 2026.
- Main Exam Call Letter: Will be released by December-January.
- Main Examination: December 2025 or February 2026.

What is the selection process?
- Office Assistant (Clerk)- First prelims will have to be given, followed by the main exam. There will be a final allotment based on the marks found in the main exam.
- Officer Scale-I (PO)- Prelims will be followed by main exam and then interview round. The interview will be organized by Nodal RRBS and NABARD.
- Officer Scale-II and Scale-III (SO)-There will be only one online exam for these posts, after which the selected candidates will be called for interview.

What is the application fee?
