IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 Date: The wait for the result of the candidate in the IBPS PO Preliminary Exam 2025 is now going to end. IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 is likely to be announced soon by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). According to the report, the result can be released only in September 2025. Candidates who attended the Prelims Examination for the Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) posts, can check their results updates on IBPS.IN, the official website of IBPS.
Penalty will be imposed for wrong answers
This year PO and MT Prelims Exams were held on 17, 23 and 24 August 2025. 100 questions in the examination were of 100 numbers. To succeed, candidates will have to get the minimum cut-off marks fixed by IBPS in each Test. The questions of which the candidates have given wrong, 25 percent i.e. one-fourth of marks will be deducted. This means that the correct score will be seen in the result.

After the result is declared, the candidates can check their results from the steps given below-
- Go to the official website of IBPS ibps.in.
- Click on the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 link available on the homepage.
- Enter login details such as roll number, date of birth etc.
- After submitting, your result will be seen on the screen.
- After checking the result, download it and keep a hard copy for the future.

Shortlisting of cut-off and main examination
Each candidate will have to pass the minimum cut-off in all three Tests. IBPS will shortlist adequate candidates from every category as per their requirement for Online Main Exam. Successful candidates in prelims will have to appear in the Mains Examination. Mains will include successful candidates in the interview round, after which the final result will be released.
