Not only this, he used to drink many nights with friends on the Chowpatty of Mumbai and sometimes he used to drink 4 o’clock in the morning.
What did the police do?
Johnny told these things in an interview given to Ranveer Allahabadia. He told that when the policemen used to come to Chowpatty, they used to recognize them and smile and say, “Hey, Johnny brother! Sit down.” Many times the policemen would sit in their car and drink alcohol!
‘Never explained’
He told that he was very busy since the beginning of his career-shooting throughout the night, live show at night, alcohol addiction from above. He said, “Used to get so tired at night that he felt exactly like a corpse after the show, but never went on stage after drinking alcohol. Never compromised his professionalism.”
Such a huge addiction
This addiction to alcohol had created a lot of difficulties in his life. Johnny said, “My wife used to get very angry, the children used to get upset, the atmosphere of the house was bad. A time came when I myself understood that just no more. I decided one day that now alcohol, cigarette will leave both. It was very difficult in the beginning, but I prayed to God and I have never been 24 years old, I never put alcohol or cigarette.”
