Story
The film I Know What You Did Last Summer centers on four teenage friends who are pursued by a hook-wielding killer a year after they cover up a car accident in which they allegedly killed a man. The story of the film revolves around Julie James (Jennifer Love-Hewitt), who is now a professor and returns to Southport. The killer continues to kill one by one with a hook and the story continues to move forward.
Writing and Direction
This film has memories of fun slasher films of the 90s which have been beautifully brought to the screen. The screenplay of the film is fast so no moment anywhere lets the film slow down. The way the story has been written has been brilliantly portrayed on screen. The film has some really shocking scenes. The death scenes are definitely horrifying.
