Now in a conversation he has revealed how he found love again. He also talked about divorce from both his wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. According to him, he had reached a point when he started feeling that someday he would find someone who could become his partner. He had also given up hope of this. But now he considers himself lucky that Gauri came into his life.

Aamir Khan said at the Hindustan Leadership Summit 2025 that he never thought that he would be in a relationship again. According to Aamir Khan, “She (Gauri) brought a lot of peace and stability. She is really an amazing person. It was my good fortune to have met her. I am very lucky that even though my marriages did not work out, I am very happy to have Reena, Kiran and Gauri in my life. They have made a huge contribution to me as a person and I owe it to them in many ways.”

Aamir Khan further talked about his relationship with his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He described both of them as good people. Describing Reena as an amazing person, he said, “Although we have separated as husband and wife, it does not mean that we have separated as humans also.” According to Aamir, he has immense love and respect for Reena. Talking about his second wife Kiran, he further said, “Same is the case with Kiran. She is a very good person. We are separated as husband and wife, but we are family. Reena, her parents, Kiran, her parents and my parents, actually we are one family.”

Aamir Khan’s first marriage was with Reena Dutta in 1986. Both have two children, Junaid Khan and Ayra Khan. The couple divorced in 2002. The ‘Ghajini’ star married Kiran Rao for the second time in 2005 and their relationship broke up in 2021. Aamir and Kiran have a son named Azad Rao Khan.
