The whole world has been watching for the last few months what wonders Vaibhav Suryavanshi can do with his bat. From IPL to Under-19 and Emerging tournaments, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has shown his batting prowess in different parts of the world. But not only batting, Vaibhav also has the ability to win everyone’s heart with his words. After scoring a brilliant century in the very first match of the Under-19 Asia Cup, Vaibhav did something similar, where he told that he does not mind sledging.
Won hearts with words after scoring a century
ICC Academy in Dubai Vaibhav Suryavanshi In the very first match of the tournament against UAE, he scored a brilliant century and scored 171 runs. Vaibhav scored these runs in only 95 balls, which included 14 sixes and 9 fours i.e. 23 boundaries. He completed his century in 56 balls and also made the biggest score of his short career. On the basis of this inning, the Indian team won and Vaibhav was chosen player of the match.
After the match, when Vaibhav went to receive the award, he was asked a special question. Actually, when Vaibhav was batting, the UAE wicketkeeper was trying to divert his attention by saying something or the other from behind. When asked about this, how did he maintain his focus, Vaibhav said, “Sir, I come from Bihar. So it doesn’t matter to me if anyone says anything from behind. The wicketkeeper’s job is to keep talking. My focus was on my batting.”
Vaibhav is also making records
This one statement proved that even at the age of 14, Vaibhav Suryavanshi clearly knows that the world says something or the other but it is important to focus on one’s work. Apparently the young batsmen are implementing this, the effect of which is visible in their batting. Apart from becoming the youngest and fastest Indian batsman to score a century in IPL, he also made the record of fastest century in Youth ODI cricket. Apart from this, he recently became the youngest batsman to score a century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
