Hyundai Motor India has achieved a big milestone with the Hyundai Venue and its sportier version, the Hyundai Venue N Line. Both models have secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, making them among the safest cars in their category.
The Venue scored 31.15 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection and 44.46 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection. These are very high scores, showing that the car performs well in both frontal and side impact crash tests.
One of the key reasons behind this performance is the improved structure of the SUV. The Venue is built on an updated platform that uses around 71% high-strength steel. This helps the car absorb crash impact better and protect passengers inside. Hyundai has made safety a priority by offering many features as standard across all variants.
These include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), hill-start assist, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ISOFIX child seat mounts. In total, the car offers over 65 safety features, with 33 available as standard. This ensures even the base model is well-equipped for safety.
Higher variants of the Venue also offer Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). These include features like forward collision warning, blind view monitor and surround view camera. An important point is that the 5-star rating applies to both the standard Venue and the Venue N Line, and across all variants sold in India, which means you don’t have to buy the top model to get high safety standards. It shows that compact SUVs can now offer safety levels similar to bigger and more expensive cars.
It also makes the Venue a strong option for families looking for a safe and reliable vehicle. The Hyundai Venue and Hyundai Venue N Line achieving a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating is an important step for the segment. It shows how carmakers are focusing more on safety than ever before.
