Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition With Matte Bronze Alloys Is The Hot Hatch’s Final Goodbye

The Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition is designed for those who want more than the already feisty i20 N. The most interesting addition is 18-inch matte bronze flow-forged alloy wheels covered in Pirelli P Zero performance tyres. Compared to the standard model, the Hyundai i20 in its Shadow Edition avatar flaunts matte bronze graphics on the body. It can be had in either Abyss Black or Atlas White colour.

As for the interior, the i20 N Shadow Edition gets Alcantara upholstery for the steering wheel and gear lever. There’s also a blue contrast detailing inspired by Hyundai’s N division. The inclusion of custom floor mats and an individually numbered plaque speaks of the model’s special status.

Mechanically, the Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Power and torque figures stand at 201hp and 275Nm, respectively.  in Brazil. Though the exact launch timeline is not confirmed, it will roll out to other markets sometime soon. That said, the Special Edition is an exclusive version of the i20 N, and will be offered only in Australia.

Hyundai has not made changes to the powertrain. Hence, the i20 N in the Shadow Edition version continues with a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. The suspension and chassis also remain unchanged.

In Australia, the Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition is priced from AUD 41,500 (approximately Rs 27.79 lakh) for the Atlas White finish. The Abyss Black version carries a slightly higher price tag of AUD 42,095 (approximately Rs 28.15 lakh). The special edition is currently exclusive to the Australian market.
