Hyderabad: The iconic Numaish exhibition is set to return with its 85th edition on New Year’s Day 2026, reports said.
All India Industrial Exhibition also known as Numaish is organised by Exhibition Society and will remain open till February 15 at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.
Timing, entry fee:
The exhibition will be open from Monday-Friday from 4 PM to 10.30 PM while on weekends and public holidays, it will be open till 11 AM. Entry tickets are priced at Rs 50 per head and entry is free for children below five years.
More than 1,000 exhibitors to establish stalls:
Over 1,000 exhibitors, manufacturers and artisans from across the country will establish stalls and participate in the exhibition, and will showcase a wide variety of products. About 20 food stalls offering different cuisines will be the highlight of the fair.
Security personnel to be deployed:
Organisers has constituted 34 sub-committees to oversee various aspects of the event. About 104 security personnel will be deployed at exhibition grounds to prevent untoward incidents. Over 300 volunteers will be on duty, including 138 volunteers during the day to assist women and senior citizens and over 75 volunteers will be deployed to protect stallholder property.
Fire safety arrangements:
A team of 45 trained volunteers will be deployed at the site to continuously monitor fire safety systems and the fire department will deploy two fire engines of 10,000-litre capacity through the time period of the exhibition.
Free parking for two-wheelers and four-wheelers is available at Gagan Vihar, Gruha Kalpa, Chandra Vihar and Bhimrao Vada while a paid automated multi-level parking facility is arranged at Handloom House, Gate Number 1.
A health-checkup centre, an eye hospital will be set up at the site in collaboration with Yashoda Hospital and Lions International respectively.
Every year, about 10,000 people are employed either directly or indirectly via the exhibition and it offers opportunities to about 1,000 small and medium businesses. In FY 2024-25, the exhibition contributed about Rs 10 crore to government revenue through GST and other ways.
