Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force on Monday apprehended a man who had been absconding for four years in connection with a cheating case.

The accused, Shaik Jani (34), a resident of Saroornagar, was allegedly involved in multiple cases of Mudra loan fraud registered in Hyderabad and Rachakonda.

“Jani had collected huge amounts from women on the pretext of arranging Mudra loans and duped them,” said YVS Sudheendra, DCP, Task Force.
