Hyderabad: Panjagutta Police issued lookout notices against YouTuber Anvesh over the 2025 case filed by Karate Kalyani for making derogatory remarks against Hindu gods.
She stated in her complaint that he had released videos that denigrated deities like Sita Devi and Draupadi Devi and hurt the sentiments of devotees.
Anvesh’s Instagram account blocked:
Anvesh, who is not based in India, runs a YouTube channel by the name of ‘Naa Anveshana’. His Instagram account was recently blocked by Meta, after the police wrote to Instagram and YouTube about his remarks. He kicked up more controversy by using obscene language over the suspension of his Instagram account.
“I haven’t made even one penny from the Instagram account. It makes no difference to me if it exists or not,” he said along with a series of expletives.
The digital content creator, who hails from Visakhapatnam, has been recognized for his foreign travel videos for the past few years. Immigration officials are authorised to immediately arrest Anvesh if he sets foot at any airport in the country and hand him over to the police.
Hindu groups have demanded his extradition to India for making harsh comments against deities.
