Hyderabad: Residents of Hyderabad will not have any water supply for 24 hours, from the morning of September 24 to the morning of September 25, because of repair work that needs to be done.
An official message from the HMWSSB on Monday said, “Big leaks have been found in the 1500 mm wide PSC pipeline, which carries drinking water from Kalabgur to Hyder Nagar in Manjeera Phase-2. This line is very important for supplying water to Hyderabad. To fix these leaks, repair work will start at 6 am on September 24 and will go on until 6 am on September 25.”
Hyderabad water cut: Areas affected
Because of this repair work, some places in the city will get water at very low pressure, while others may not receive any water at all during this time. Places that will be affected by the water cut include:
RC Puram, Ashok Nagar, Jyoti Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madeenaguda, Miyapur, Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Offtake Points, Bulk Connections, Erragadda, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Bhagyanagar Colony, and Pragati Nagar.
