Police have collected CCTV footage, which shows the car being driven recklessly while the constable was on the bonnet. In the breath analyzer test conducted after the incident, the blood alcohol level was found to be 160 mg per 100 ml.
Officials said that this is much more than the legal limit prescribed under the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. Based on the evidence, the police arrested the accused and registered cases related to reckless driving, endangering life and drunk driving.
