The married woman has lodged an FIR against her in-laws, resident of Mathura, for non-fulfillment of her dowry demand. She has been accused of throwing her out of the house and forcing her husband to drink alcohol and having unnatural sex.
The girl, resident of North region, got married in Mathura two years ago.
In the complaint letter given to the police, the married woman told that she was married to a young man from Mathura on 23 November 2023. The in-laws were dissatisfied with the dowry received in the marriage. Husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law demanded Rs 10 lakh. For this he was often abused, beaten and kept hungry and thirsty.

Her husband would often come under the influence of alcohol and would force her to drink alcohol. When they protested, they used to fight and have unnatural relations. People from the maternal side also held a Panchayat with the in-laws, but there was no change in their attitude. They used to taunt her about being a daughter. On September 19, the accused threw her out of the house.
Complained to Mathura Police but no action was taken. Inspector Anjeesh Kumar said that the incident is being investigated by filing an FIR against the accused.
