Rampur Murder Case News: A big revelation has come to light in the murder case of female constable Lata Singh in Rampur. The police have arrested the husband. It is alleged that he conspired to murder his wife and son in the greed of insurance and government benefits worth Rs 1.5 crore.
The murder case of female constable Lata Singh, which came to light in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, is now in the news again with a big revelation. The incident which was considered a road accident two months ago, has now turned out to be a well-planned murder conspiracy during police investigation. According to the police, woman constable Lata Singh was murdered by none other than her husband. It is alleged that he planned to murder his wife and two-year-old son to get insurance and government benefits worth Rs 1.5 crore.
Earlier the matter was considered an accident
This incident happened on 25th February. That day, Lata Singh was returning from Nainital to Moradabad by car with her husband Dan Singh and two-year-old son Laddu. On the way, news of sudden fire in his car came to light on Kashipur-Khod road. Lata Singh and her son died in this incident, while husband Dan Singh survived. At that time the police considered it an accident and registered a case. But the post-mortem report and subsequent investigation found many such indications which made the police suspect that the case was not an ordinary accident.

The husband had hatched the entire conspiracy
Police investigation revealed that this incident was planned by Dan Singh himself along with his brother and some friends. It is alleged that he carried out the entire incident in such a way that it looked like a road accident. According to the police, the first plan of the accused was to kill his wife by causing a car accident. If she survived, the plan was to kill her by setting the car on fire or drowning her in water. And if this did not work then there was preparation to attack with a hammer.
Sleeping pills mixed in cold drink
Investigation also revealed that the accused had given sleeping pills mixed in cold drink to his wife and son. When both of them became unconscious, he crashed the car into a dumper on the way. After this he took the car forward and set it on fire. In this incident, his two year old son got trapped in the car and died.

Lata Singh tried to escape
According to the police, after the car caught fire, Lata Singh somehow ran away, but fell into a water-filled pit on the roadside. The accused tried to kill him by drowning him in water. Meanwhile, some people from nearby reached there. After this, with the help of his associates, the accused put Lata Singh in the car and left from there.

On the way, the accused killed his wife by attacking her with a hammer. After this, he reached the hospital crying loudly, so that the incident could be proved as an accident. At first glance, even the police thought that he himself was a victim. But the post-mortem report revealed marks of a hammer blow on the head. After this, the police interrogated the accused strictly and the entire conspiracy came to light.
Murder for insurance worth Rs 1.5 crore
During police interrogation, the accused told that he had taken insurance of about Rs 1.5 crore in the name of his wife. Apart from this, since Lata Singh was in the police department, the accused was expected to get government compensation and other benefits after her death. This greed became the biggest reason for this dreadful conspiracy.
Death of first wife also under suspicion
During the investigation, the police also came to know that this was the second marriage of Dan Singh. His first wife died in a road accident in 2015. Although at that time the police did not find any concrete evidence, but now after this new revelation the police is re-investigating that old case also.
Police is investigating further
Police say that the role of other people involved in this case is also being investigated. If necessary, the brother and other associates of the accused will also be interrogated. This matter is also considered serious because due to greed and conspiracy, a female policeman and an innocent child lost their lives.
