Investor confidence appeared to be weakening in morning trade today. By 12 noon, the Sensex fell by 638 points to reach 82,937. Nifty also fell 189 points to 25,494. Selling was seen in almost every sector. Domestic and global signals together put pressure on the market, due to which investors appeared to be avoiding taking risks for the time being.
