The death toll in the morning HRTC bus accident in Sarkaghat in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh is continuously increasing. In this accident, four people died on the spot. At the same time, this figure has reached the growing eight.

It is now being told that another injured in this accident have died during treatment in the hospital. Due to which now the figures of those who died in this bus accident have reached eight. Which includes four women and four men. The eighth deceased has not yet been identified.
Please tell that this morning a painful road accident came from Mandi district. On the Jamni-Durgapur road of Sarkaghat subdivision, a bus from HRTC fell uncontrollably into a ditch about 150 meters deep. So far 8 people have been confirmed in the accident. At the same time, more than 10 passengers are said to be injured, out of which the condition of three remains critical.
According to the information, this bus was coming from Jamni towards Sarkaghat. As soon as the bus reached Maseran Talgara, the driver’s control was lost and the bus fell directly into the fields from the road. After the accident, there was a scream at the scene. The locals first reached the spot and started working on relief work.
The accident occurred at around 9 am when the driver took the bus on the side of the road to give way to the car coming from the front, but during this time the road support suddenly collapsed, causing the bus to lose balance and fell into the ditch. It is being told that there were more than 30 passengers in the bus.

Treatment of injured continues, Gambhir shifted
The injured were immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Sarkaghat, from where the seriously injured have been referred to Nerchowk Medical College, Hamirpur Medical College, AIIMS Bilaspur and IGMC Shimla after primary treatment. The bus driver is also injured and is undergoing treatment in Nerchouk.
Poles of health facilities opened
Sarkaghat MLA Dalip Thakur, who reached the hospital to know the condition of the injured, expressed displeasure over the lack of basic facilities in the hospital. He said that there is neither ultrasound machine nor adequate arrangement of ambulance in the hospital. He promised that he would raise the issue prominently in the assembly.
Deputy Chief Minister took stock of the situation
Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri reached AIIMS Bilaspur and came to know the condition of the injured and said that the incident is very unfortunate. He said that 5 seriously injured patients are being treated under the supervision of specialist doctors. They also include an innocent. He said that according to preliminary investigation, the cause of the accident is the collapse of the road, but a detailed investigation will be conducted in the entire incident. The Deputy Chief Minister has instructed the officials that if negligence is found anywhere, strict action will be taken against the culprits.
