Sharing the pics, Hrithik wrote, “Happy birthday to you papa. Thank you for building this resilience inside me.
When life gets hard, it feels like home. Nothing can and nothing will shake the soldier in me. Over the years I have learnt to see the opposite as well , and I know you have too. The discovery of worthiness within , the simplicity of just being, the collapse of external validation. Today I walk in balance , as do you. Never complete , but no longer empty.”
He further added, “I would have never reached this place of equanimity, this place of wisdom, without first traversing the hard path. Thank you for building that soldier in me. For being the best teacher one could ask for.

Rakesh Roshan, father of Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, is known for directing some of Hindi cinema’s most memorable films such as Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Koi… Mil Gaya, and the Krrish franchise. Before stepping into direction, Roshan was an actor himself and appeared in several films during the 1970s and 1980s.
He starred in popular films like Khubsoorat (1980), Khatta Meetha (1978), Khel Khel Mein (1975), Kaamchor (1982), and Bhago Bhut Aaya (1980). Known for his charming screen presence and natural acting style, Roshan was often seen in family dramas and comedies that are remembered fondly even today.
