Hrithik Roshan to collaborate with Telugu filmmaker; here’s everything you must know

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is preparing for a collaboration with Telugu filmmaker Bobby Kolli and famous writer Kona Venkat. The news came to light after Venkat spoke about it in a recent interview. He stated that he, along with director Bobby Kolli and writer K Chakravarthy Reddy, narrated a story to Hrithik, and he loved it. While the news has sparked excitement for a pan-Indian film, more details are yet to be known.

In an interview with iDream Media, Venkat disclosed that he approached the Bollywood star, along with Telugu director Bobby Kolli and writer K Chakravarthy Reddy. Venkat said that Hrithik was evidently impressed with the story as well as the concept. Venkat added that the actor lauded the storytelling sensibility in the South. The little revelation has itself initiated speculations relating to a new project.

The trio that pitched the story to Hrithik is well known for their craft. Bobby Kolli, also known as KS Ravindra, has been popular for his commercial entertainers like Waltair Veerayya, Jai Lava Kusa, and Power. Venkat, on the other hand, is a well-known screenplay writer. Dookudu, Ready, and Adhurs are some of his popular hits.

Meanwhile, reports claim Hrithik is trying explore the possibility of working with a South Indian director and production house. He has been in a few discussions with people from the Tollywood industry. The Bollywood star has already announced a collaboration with Hombale Films, responsible for KGF: Chapter 1, KGF: Chapter 2, Kantara, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.

Hrithik was last seen in  War 2 with Jr NTR. He is also expected to appear next in Krrish 4, the next installment of  Koi Mil Gaya.
