New Delhi: As the college rush begins across India, HP has launched a bunch of discounts and bundled offers on its popular laptops under the annual “Back to College” campaign. These deals, which went live today, apply to select models in the Omen gaming series, Victus laptops, and the newer OmniBook X and 5 series.
The offers are available both online and offline at HP World Stores and authorised resellers, and will continue till 20 August 2025. HP is also bundling deals on accessories and apps like Adobe software, Microsoft 365, headphones and more for students and regular buyers.
HP’s seasonal offers cover both gamers and students
From what’s available, it looks like HP is targeting both the gaming crowd and students looking for lightweight AI laptops. On the gaming side, the Omen and Victus ranges are getting price drops and exchange offers under HP’s Switch programme.
If you’re picking up an Omen laptop, you can:
- Get extended warranty and 3-year antivirus protection at Rs. 3,499, or Rs. 2,499 if you’re a student.
- Claim exchange benefits up to Rs. 15,000 on older HP laptops.
- Add a HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 headset (MRP Rs. 13,927) and Steam Wallet worth Rs. 2,500 for Rs. 999.
- Get Accidental Damage Protection for 3 years at Rs. 5,999.
The Victus 16 range follows a similar structure, with exchange discounts of up to Rs. 5,000, bundled headset and Steam wallet at Rs. 1,699, and one-year accidental damage protection at Rs. 999. A student buying a Victus laptop gets the antivirus and warranty bundle for Rs. 1,999.
For the non-gamers, HP’s OmniBook X and Ultra models are also seeing some big offers. Cashback up to Rs. 15,000 is on the table when buying with select banks, along with a Fossil watch worth Rs. 13,495 for Rs. 999.
Accessories and software deals also bundled
HP is bundling Microsoft 365 and Adobe’s Photoshop and Premiere Elements software for users who buy any of the Omen, Victus, or OmniBook laptops. The Adobe bundle, worth Rs. 20,000, is available for Rs. 2,999. Microsoft 365 is offered at Rs. 999.
Those buying the OmniBook 5 get a choice between a Skybag Play Plus strolley bag or a Portronics power bank, both available at Rs. 499 as part of the package. There’s also a watch offer bundled with OmniBook 7 buyers.
All devices come with optional extended warranty and Protegent antivirus coverage at different price points, depending on the model.
These offers could be worth considering if you’re planning to buy a laptop soon and don’t mind the added bundles. But the final value depends on the specific laptop prices in stores and whether you’re eligible for the student pricing.
