Up Assembly 24-Hour Discussion: On Wednesday, on the third day of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, historic discussion started on ‘Developed India, Developed Uttar Pradesh’ Vision 2047. This discussion will run for 24 hours. In this discussion, the ministers of the Yogi Government shared their views on the state’s economic growth, social justice, environmental protection and development of basic infrastructure. The ministers reiterated that by 2047 UP will be made the most developed state in the country. This vision includes goals such as zero poverty, world -class infrastructure and technological innovation.

Super Specialty Hospital and Trauma Center in every division: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that before 2017, roads, law and order and electricity in UP were bad. Crimes used to get political patronage. But now the state has the highest expressway and 75 districts have been linked to four-lane roads. He informed that UP is number one in the country in wheat, milk and sugar production. There has been great progress in health services – 80 Medical College, Rae Bareli and Gorakhpur have increased AIIMS, and 5,250 MBBS seats. 5.5 crore cards have been made in Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

There is a target to eliminate TB, malaria and water -borne diseases by 2047. Super specialty hospitals and trauma centers will be built in every division. Disease surveillance and prevention systems will be created for diseases like diabetes, hypertension and cancer. Health risks associated with climate change will also be noted.

AI used to stop tax evasion: Finance Minister Suresh Khanna

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that in the last 8 years, the state has done record growth in the economic sector. This year, there is a target to increase UP’s GSDP from Rs 29.87 lakh crore to Rs 35 lakh crore. An investment proposals of more than Rs 40 lakh crore have been received, in which industries are being set up in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. He said that by 2047, targets like zero poverty, favorite investment destination, world -class infrastructure, space technology and IT hub have been set to make UP the most developed state. The cottage industry will be promoted in rural areas and 242 crore trees have been planted for environmental protection. Research on new technology and good seeds will be increased in agriculture. AI and other techniques will be used to prevent tax evasion. Emphasis will also be laid on making half the population self -sufficient and promoting healthy lifestyle through yoga.

Large achievements in rivers and irrigation system: Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh

Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that before 2017, UP was called a sick state and investors were migrating. But now the state has won the National Water Award. He informed that 1.04 crore hectares of land is being irrigated from 76,527 km of canals. The Ken-Betwa link project has started for Bundelkhand. UP has 8 main rivers, 58 small rivers and 15,225 km long river system.

Big steps in flood safety and river conservation

The state is getting security from floods from 523 embankments. Work is underway on modernization of all dams, installation of flood forecasting system and pollution -free of rivers. A large scale plantation will also be done on the canal along the canal.

Record reform in electricity and urban development: Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma

City Development and Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma said that UP is moving fast in realizing the resolve of PM, PM’s ‘developed India’. Before 2017, there were neither pillars, nor wires, and scams in electricity bills, but now the situation has completely changed. Now 32,000 MW peak demand is being met, which was only 13,000 MW in 2012-17. In 8 years, 15 lakh farmers have received tube wells and 1.5 lakh Majars have been electrified. 9,120 MW thermal power is being produced, 29 lakh pillars have been replaced and 38,000 transformers are being repaired every month. Smart meter has reduced power complaints. Lucknow is among the 3 cleanest cities in the country and 6 cities of UP are among the 20 cleanest cities in the country. The goal is to bring UP to the splendor of ‘Ram Rajya’ in electricity and urban management by 2047.
