When will the project be completed?
The Government of India approved this important project in October last year. These have been called Space Based Surveillance Phase-3. Its first batch is being done on the plan to prepare the entire network by the year 202728 and the entire network by the year 2029. In view of the challenges in Operation Sindoor, instructions have been given to speed up this project. It is expected that now the first batch will be ready to help the army by getting ready in next year i.e. 2026. This will further strengthen India’s security system and will provide additional strength to the Thal, Vayu, Navy forces.

Apart from India, countries like America, Russia, China, France and Israel are also using military satellites extensively. These countries not only monitor their respective satellites, but also collect missile warnings and intelligence information. America has the largest and advanced military satellite network in the world. It can be said that in this case, America stands in front of the world as the most powerful country.
