We have to take decisions at every turn of our life. Whether it is a small decision related to everyday life or a big decision to be taken for life, but while taking any decision, we definitely have the option to choose, in which we are always confused.
But the situation of some decisions is such that it is not possible to change them after taking them once. In such a situation we often get nervous.
But let us tell you that, answers to all our questions and illusions are found in Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita means the words and thoughts of Krishna, which help us improve humanity and lifestyle. During the Mahabharata, Shri Krishna told Arjuna many things in the battlefield, which helps to make the right decision in the event of confusion between right and wrong in life.
So if you too are trapped in such a situation, which you are having difficulty in taking decisions, then you keep some things of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in mind, then the right decision will definitely help. That is why Bhagavatacharya Pandit Raghavendra Shastri, a resident of Bhopal, knows the things mentioned by Lord Krishna, who are useful to take the right decisions in life…
Avoid making decisions based on yourself and others
Life is full of emotions, so we are often in dilemma while deciding about people close to them, because our feelings and sensations are associated with them. Arjun had the same situation in Kurukshetra, because he was fighting his brothers in war. But Lord Krishna told Arjuna that, the decision should never be taken mentally, on the basis of emotions and others.
Avoid making decisions in excessive feelings
According to the Bhagavad Gita, when you are happy or unhappy, no person should take a decision, because at this time your mind is not stable and reacts differently. When you are happy, your decision is always in the form of ‘yes’ and your decision is in the form of ‘no’ in times of excessive sorrow, so you should avoid making decisions in this situation and take decisions when your mind is stable.
Ask yourself questions, then decide
In the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says that, when you want to take a decision, ask myself before that I am taking this decision emotionally or angry? Because only when a person evaluates himself and decides, then he can take a decision impartially. On the other hand, when you are not satisfied with your answer, avoid making decisions.
Selfless work
In the Gita, Lord Krishna himself has said that, when you do any work, do it without any expectation, because the results of the work done without any expectation are good and the decisions are correct. While completing any work, keep in mind that, working is in your hand, but its results are not in your hand.
Trust whatever work you do
One should always trust your actions and decisions. Lord Krishna teaches us to believe in himself in the Bhagavad Gita and keep doing our work. If we do not believe in ourselves, we cannot achieve anything in our life. Therefore, we should always be firm on our decisions and make realistic decisions, believing in ourselves and God.
