Flood of faith towards Sangam, strong guard of roadways on the roads
During Magh Mela 2026, Sangam city Prayagraj is once again going to become a huge center of devotion, bathing and meditation. This time, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has made preparations on an unprecedented level to ensure uninterrupted travel of lakhs of devotees. In view of the major bathing festivals like Makar Sankranti and Mauni Amavasya, a total of 3800 buses will be operated by making temporary bus stands around the city, so that no one is inconvenienced in this journey of faith.
This time the fair administration and roadways have divided Prayagraj into four zones, East, West, North and South. In each zone, different temporary bus stands have been fixed according to the direction and destination of the passengers. Its purpose is that the devotees can catch the bus directly on their route and unnecessary crowd and jam can be avoided.
