The online gaming bill in the country has got the approval of President Draupadi Murmu. After the notification is issued, this will become a law. The government brought ‘online gaming (promotion and regulation) Bill 2025’ to clamp down on online games played with money. Now the way to tighten the screws on such real money online gaming platforms has been cleared. Many online gaming platforms can be closed after the bill is passed.
Many big gaming companies of the country have announced that they are shutting down real-man offering to follow the new law. These include many platforms like Dream 11, MPL, Pokarbaji, My 11 Circle, Jupi, Winzo and Prbo. Because these companies have discontinued real-money offering, the rest of the ballot and other gaming activity can continue. Companies say that the user’s account balance is completely safe. The country’s big gaming companies in India such as Dream11, MPL, Pokerbaazi, My11Circle, Zupee, Winzo and Prabo announced that they are shutting down their real-mani games under the new law. Dream11 will focus on its other services like Fancode, DreamsetGo and Dream Game Studios. In 2021, the company’s valuation was around $ 8 billion. Pokerbaazi said on social media that he is stopping his real-mani games with a heavy heart. The company assured that users’ money is safe and withdrawal facility will remain. My11Circle (Games24X7) also announced the closure of his real-mani games and said that the players would be able to easily take out the balance from the wallet.
