74kg Ganja Recovery Kanpur: Kanpur police took major action and recovered 74 kg of hemp and arrested two smugglers. This action of the UP Police has caused a big shock to the drug mafia network and the illegal business of drugs in the city is being closely monitored.
Kanpur drug smuggling case: The Kanpur police has achieved great success as part of the campaign against criminals and drug traders. The joint team of police arrested five vicious accused and recovered huge quantities of cannabis, cash and mobile phones from their possession.
According to the information shared by the Kanpur police, on August 31, the police station Chakeri got secret information that some people are going to deliver hemp in a large consignment. The police immediately took action and arrested the five accused from the spot.

- Sohail alias Suhan resident police station Kannauj
- Sultana Ahmed (wife Sohail) resident police station Kannauj
- Shyam Singh resident Kannauj
- Doll wife Dilip Gihar resident Sachndi police station area
- Deviprasad resident Sachndi police station area
The seizures shocked the police
The goods seized by the police during the raid are included:
- 74 kg 200 grams of hemp
- Rs 35,150 cash
- 05 mobile phone
The price of the recovered cannabis has been estimated at around Rs 15 lakh.

Joint team of Police Commissionerate showed strength
This action was taken under the direction of Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal and Additional Police Commissioner Crime Mahendra. The SWAT team, Narcotic team, surveillance team and police station Chakeri police played an important role in this.
