Prashant Kishore stated the strategy to challenge BJP and JDU in Bihar elections 2025. Questioning the politics of Muslim vote bank, he claimed to increase the support of Jan Suraj Party and spoke of a new political option.
Patna: A new movement has intensified in Bihar politics. Jan Suraj Party founder and electoral strategist Prashant Kishore recently revealed his strategy in ‘Bihar Parivartan Izlas’ held at the Madrasa Anjuman Islamia Maidan in Kishanganj. During this time, he surrounded the BJP and JDU and told how they are planning to defeat both these parties in the head.
Muslims are not selected voters but strength – Prashant Kishore
Prashant Kishore said that RJD and Grand Alliance talk about political security of Muslims, but why did not take concrete steps for the education and employment of Muslim children in the last 30 years? He alleged that the Grand Alliance only used Muslims as a vote bank by showing fear of the BJP. According to him, Muslims are not only voters, but they are the true strength of Bihar with whom it is necessary to stand with.
JDU will barely get reserved seats
He predicted that this time JDU is unlikely to get 25 seats in Bihar assembly elections. Giving the example of BJP’s poor performance in Bengal, he says that now JDU has also reached the same situation, which is getting a serious challenge.
A large section of Hindu voters in opposition to BJP
Prashant Kishore said that about half of the entire Hindu community opposed the policies of the BJP and they consider Gandhi, Lohia, Babasaheb and socialist views. This vote bank is against BJP. He indicated that if 20% Muslim votes with these Hindu voters also stand with Jan Suraj, then the BJP will get a big shock in the election.
Call to empower Muslims
Prashant Kishore told the Muslims, “You have been burning like a lantern, but now your light is going to be extinguished. You have seen the reality of BJP, Yogi and Modi’s rule. Now you have to fight for your rights without any fear.”
Jan Suraj’s growing popularity and courage
Prashant Kishore claimed that he has about 125 crore people associated with the Jan Suraj Party, in which Muslims have a large stake. He presents Jan Suraj as a strong alternative for Bihar, saying that on formation of his government, strict action will be taken on corruption and a new era of change in Bihar will come.
