What kind of women did Shaheen target?
According to sources, the ATS expanded the scope of its search after collecting digital evidence and collected voice notes, videos, contact lists and follow-up communications. All this revealed that Dr Shaheen had maintained a structured outreach network which targeted vulnerable women, especially those who were isolated from husbands or families and unemployed. Apart from this, women suffering from financial crisis were also Shaheen’s target.
