However, Russia is already fighting a war with Ukraine. This is the same Iran, whose relations are being considered friendly with India today, but during the Mughal rule, the rulers of Iran lived with Hindustan. Let us know how much war took place between the Mughals and Iran and what was the story, who won and who lost?

In fact, Hindustan was ruled by Persia (Persia) i.e. Iran during the Mughal reign. This rule lasted from 1501 to 1736 AD for a long time.

Babur wanted Samarkand capture

From the Mughal ruler Babur to Shah Jahan fought Persia several times to capture the Kandahar of Afghanistan. Actually, Babur wanted to capture Samarkand before turning to Hindustan. Samarkand used to come under Shaybak Khan Uzbek at the time. Then Babur tried to win Samarkand several times but failed. Meanwhile, Shaybak Uzbek was killed by the soldiers of Shah Ismail Safavi and Babur formed an alliance with Shah Safavi.

Babur

Babur laid the foundation of the Mughal Empire in India.

At that time Babur was also given military assistance from Safavi, but due to communal reasons, the alliance between them broke and Babur’s desire to win Samarkand remained incomplete. After this Babur turned to Hindustan and defeated Sultan Lodi in 1526 AD and established the Mughal Empire in India.

Humayun was helped by the ruler of Persia

After Babur’s death, his son Humayun sat on the throne of Hindustan in the year 1530. On the other hand, his son Shah Tahamas I took power in place of Ismail Safavi in Persia. A few years after his rule, Humayun was defeated by Sher Shah Suri, then he ran away and went to Persia, where it stayed for 15 years. In the year 1555, Humayun again got the throne of Hindustan with the help of the ruler. However, Humayun had then promised to give Shah Tahmas to Kandahar’s area, but Humayun was retracted by his promise after regaining power in Delhi.

Kandahar Parsiya was done but Mughals won again

After the death of Humayun, in the year 1556, Akbar took power in Delhi at a very young age and once again the case of Kandahar arose. However, Persia captured Kandahar in the year 1558. Persian has become. However, historians tell two stories contrast. Some historians say that Shah Tahmas had sent his army and captured Kandahar, while some historians believe that Akbar handed over Persia to Kandahar to fulfill Humayun’s promise. However, Kandahar did not occupy Persia for long and Akbar won Kandahar once again in 1595.

Kandahar got out of Jahangir’s hand

In the year 1622-23, during the reign of Jahangir, there was a war between the Mughals and the Persia ruler once again over the occupation of Kandahar. Jahangir then asked his son Shah Jahan to face Persia, but he rebelled and placed several conditions in front of Jahangir. When Jahangir asked Khurram to protect Kandahar, he too postponed. In such a situation, Persia was occupied by Kandahar, who could not become a part of the Mughal rule again while living in Jahangir.

Shah jahan

Even during the rule of Shah Jahan, there was a war between the Mughal army and the Persia (now Iran).

Slipped even during Shah Jahan’s reign

During the reign of Shah Jahan, in the year 1638, the forces of Mughals and Persia came face to face once again. In this war, the Mughals won and captured Kandahar again. Between 1649 and 1653, once again the Mughal and Persia Safavid came face to face and Persia was captured by Kandahar. Since then, Persia was occupied by Kandahar and Aurangzeb never turned to it when he became a king.

Nadirshah created murder in Delhi, looted

After the death of the last strong Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, the ruler of Persia once again moved to Hindustan. In fact, after strengthening his rule in Persia, Nadirshah attacked Afghanistan in the year 1738 and moved towards Hindustan via Khyber Pass. In February 1739, there was a war in Karnal between the then Mughal ruler Muhammad Shah Rangeela and Nadirshah of Persia, in which Rangeela lost badly.

Nadir shah

Nadir Shah slaughtered in Delhi and returned with Kohinoor.

It is said that Nadirshah, along with only 50 thousand soldiers, defeated the Mughal army of three lakh soldiers in this war within three hours, because there was a lack of coordination in the Mughal army. After this, Nadirshah’s soldiers reached Delhi, killed the murder. There was a lot of looting. When he looted a large amount of property from Takht-e-Taus and Kohinoor, Emperor Rangeela also gave him a huge amount of property to stop the murder. After this Nadirshah returned.
