Khesarilal Yadav himself sometimes sold Litti-Chokha on the streets to earn his living and sometimes entertained people by performing dance on the stage. Khesari was also fond of singing and people liked his songs very much. The struggle bore fruit and Khesari, who used to sing and dance on stage, became famous as an actor and singer of Bhojpuri films.
