There may have been a slight decline in trade between Israel and India in 2024, but the proposed free trade agreement is expected to increase trade between the two countries. Currently, India exports mainly semi-precious stones ($48.7 million), consumer electronics ($10.4 million) and engineering goods ($8.06 million) to Israel. Apart from this, pearls, precious stones, motor vehicle diesel, machinery, textiles, readymade garments and agricultural products are also sent on a large scale.

India mainly imports manufactured fertilizers ($16.7 million) and electronic components ($9.65 million) from Israel. It is believed that if the Free Trade Agreement is implemented, it will be easier for Indian products to reach the Israeli market, which can directly benefit Indian industries and farmers.
