Akkineni Nagarjuna will be making his grand return as host, adding his charisma and signature style. He has been handling hosting duties for the last six years. The Bigg Boss makers left fans intrigued by dropping a teaser featuring host Nagarjuna alongside comedian Vennela Kishore. The duo revealed a big twist coming soon for viewers with a double house, double dose concept. This season will be different from previous ones, as commoners will enter the Bigg Boss house for the first time. Considering that the show is introducing a new concept, the host’s fees are also being discussed.
Akkineni Nagarjuna is taking home a whopping Rs 30 crore to host Bigg Boss Telugu 9, as per OTTplay reports. If this is true, it would place the actor among the highest-paid reality show hosts in India. In the previous season, he was paid Rs 20 crore. Initially, reports emerged online suggesting that Nandamuri Balakrishna might host this season, as Nagarjuna was reportedly demanding a hefty fee. However, it seems that negotiations concluded successfully, though an official confirmation is yet to be made by the makers.

Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Contestants
Bigg Boss 9 will feature both celebrity contestants and commoners. To select them, the makers have planned a special test titled Bigg Boss 9 Telugu: Agnipariksha. According to media reports, sources have claimed that shooting for Agnipariksha began recently in Hyderabad. Around 40 commoners have been shortlisted, and they will compete with each other in special tasks. The last three will be declared winners and will enter the show as main contestants. Several big names from TV and movies are also expected to join this season. The show has a star-studded lineup of contestants in store for season 9.
