How many kilometers of highway is the government building in a day? PM Modi explained the difference between the works of UPA vs NDA in WITT

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the picture of the country’s development at the WITT Summit, the grand platform of TV9 network. He told how roads and highways in the country created history in a limited time. This history was not limited to just one state. In Bihar, where only one bridge could be built on the Ganga river in the last 6 to 7 decades, more than five bridges were built on the Ganga river in the last decade.

At the WITT Summit, he said, in the earlier government, highways were built but at a speed of 11 to 12 kilometers per day, but today’s situation has completely changed. The pace of construction has changed.

How many kilometers of highways are being built daily under Modi government?

Speaking on road infrastructure at the summit, PM Modi said, today our government is constructing 30 kilometers of highways every day, which was limited to only 12 kilometers per day in the previous government. Highways are being constructed at this speed in the country. He said,Today, when the world is divided into so many factions, India has built unprecedented and unimaginable bridges.

He said, if you assess the 10-11 years before 2014 and the 10-11 years after 2014, you will see how India has transformed in every sector following this principle. Previously, the turnaround time of ships at ports was 5–6 days; Today the same work is completed in less than 2 days.

Earlier, there was hardly any discussion on startup culture. Before 2014, there were only 400-500 startups in India. Today, there are more than 2,00,000 registered startups in India. Earlier, seats for medical education were limited, around 50-55 thousand MBBS seats, today this number has increased to more than 1,25,000.

Explaining the difference between the two governments, PM Modi said, earlier, lakhs of people were deprived of the banking system. There were only about 25 crore bank accounts in the country. Through Jan Dhan Yojana, more than 55 crore bank accounts have been opened. Earlier the number of airports in the country was less than 70. Today the number of airports has increased to more than 160.

New India is leaving no stone unturned for development

PM Modi said in the summit, plans were made earlier too, but the difference today is that the results are visible. Earlier the pace was slow, today India is moving forward at a fast pace. Earlier the possibilities were bleak, today resolutions are turning into achievements. That is why the world is getting the message that this is the new India. It is leaving no stone unturned in its development.
