Mahesh Babu is the son of Telugu films actor, director and producer Ghatamaneni Shiva Ram Krishna, who is known as Krishna. He comes at number four among the five children of Krishna. Brother Ramesh Babu, sister Padmavati and Manjula are older than him, while sister Priyadarshi is younger than him. Mahesh Babu is married to Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar of the 1990s. They both have two children (son Gautam and daughter Sitara).
