How do saints become?

The word Millennial is used for the younger generation which was born between 1981 and 1996. In fact, in Christianity, there has been a tradition of giving any person the status of a saint on the basis of holy life and qualities. Saint is still announced in Catholic, Orthodox and Russian Orthodox Church.

The process of declaring him a saint is usually started after the death of a person. Only the exception was seen in the case of Mother Teresa, whose announcement was made a few days after the death. The Catholic Church believes that devotion to the holy person who becomes a saint is not true, then it will disappear only after some time of enthusiasm. The final decision to declare a saint is taken from Vatican City, Rome.

Saint’s announcement is held in three phases

The process of providing the title of saint starts from where the person has lived life and where he died. Some are declared a saint in three stages. When a person has to be declared a saint, first of all, he examines his purity in the place where the person has lived life and who has been his karma. Permission is obtained from Vatican before starting this process. After completion of the investigation, the religious president of the local diaosis declares the person the person as the servant of God. It takes at least 15-20 years.

After this, the process of declaring it as reverence is started. In this, the sanctity of the servant of God and the parochial nature of his virtues is examined. Also, one divine miracle should be confirmed by the mediation of that person. After the completion of this process, officials of the Vatican Office are appointed for investigation. They examine the compositions, diaries, letters and books etc. of the person being declared saints, so that the person never said or written anything against the beliefs and morality of the Catholic Church.

Blessed is announced in the third phase. This requires another miracle. After a person is declared blessed, the process of saint’s declaration begins, which is called cannagation.
