Akash Deep HSRP Notice: India pacer Akash Deep received a notice from the Uttar Pradesh Trasnport Department, just a few days after the cricketer bought a new Toyota Fortuner SUV. The 28-year old had just returned from the recent England-India test, and shared post of his new car on the social media Instagram.
Akash Deep HSRP Notice: Reason
As per reports, Akash has received notice for driving the Toyota Fortuner without the high security registration plate (HSRP). As per available information, the cricketer’s Toyota Fortuner was delivered without the HSRP, and action has also been taken against the Lucknow-based dealership, M/s Sunny Motors. License of the dealership has been suspended for a month, and if the dealer fails to respond to the notice within 14 days, the trade license will be cancelled.

What Is HSRP?
HSRP are safer number plates and it features hologram, laser codes, and non-removable screws. These type of number plates are specially designed to prevent theft and tampering. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways made the HSRPs mandatory in the year 2019. The Toyota Fortuner is one of the most cherished vehicles in the country, and it is priced between Rs 36.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 52.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
