The story changed repeatedly during interrogation, then the accused broke down.
During interrogation, Ambesh kept misleading the police. He kept creating a new story on every question. But when the police showed strictness, he broke down. The truth that came out after this shocked everyone. Ambesh confessed that his parents had been murdered and he had committed this crime.
Attack with iron bat, strangulation with rope and murder
Ambesh told that he first hit mother Babita on the head with an iron baton. When father Shyam Bahadur called someone and started informing about the incident, he also attacked his head. After this, he was strangulated with a rope lying nearby. Both of them died in agony.
The brutality did not stop here. After the murder, Ambesh cut the bodies of his parents with a saw to destroy the evidence. Both of them were cut into three pieces. These pieces were filled in cement bags and thrown into the river. A part of the mother’s body could not fit in the sack, so it was thrown into the Sui River while going to Varanasi.
Muslim wife and money dispute became the reason

Ambesh was living with his parents in the village for the last three months. During this period there were daily disputes regarding land and money. On one hand, fights with parents, on the other hand, demands of money from his wife in Kolkata. On the night of 8 December, this tension took a horrifying form and Ambesh brutally murdered his own parents.
