The Yogi government is taking big steps to increase the income of farmers. 90 days free beekeeping training will be provided in Basti, Prayagraj and Saharanpur. Farmers will also get up to 40% subsidy on honey production, which will create new opportunities for employment and earning.
Yogi government farmer schemes: Farmers are often called “Annadata”, but now the Yogi government is also taking steps towards making them “honey”. In order to double the income of farmers and give them new employment opportunities, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to start 90 days free beekeeping training in Basti, Prayagraj and Saharanpur.
Benefit of up to 40% subsidy in beekeeping
Minister of State (Independent Charge) Park, Agricultural Marketing and Agricultural Foreign Trade Dinesh Pratap Singh said that under this scheme, farmers will get 40% subsidy on cradle. He says that beekeeping is a task that can prove to be a low cost and more income -giving business in a short time.

When and where will be beekeeping training?
This training will run for 90 days (three months).
- Saharanpur and Basti: Horticulture Use and Training Center
- Prayagraj: state park
Its application will have to be made before 16 September 2025. The special thing is that training will be completely free and no fee will be charged for it. 8th pass female and men can apply.
You have to arrange and eat food itself
The government will give training, but the candidates will have to make arrangements for living and eating. Director Dr. Bhanu Prakash Ram says that beekeeping is a business that farmers can start in low cost and short time. The sale of honey earns farmers well and it can also become a strong means of self -employment.
