Honda has revealed the facelifted Elevate SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted model has seen modifications to its design, features and safety equipment, retaining its existing shape and petrol engine. The new Elevate will rival against the likes of the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Honda has focused on adding more comfort and technology to the SUV, while also giving it a fresh look for better appeal. Honda has done the facelift to attract more buyers in the saturated midsize SUV segment.
Honda Elevate facelift gets a new look
The facelifted model has retained the overall shape of the outgoing SUV while introducing several design updates. On the front, the SUV now comes with LED strips that join the headlamps.
It also gets a new honeycomb-pattern grille, that brings a different look to the front. The rear section has got more prominent changes, with connected LED taillights linking the two sides.
The SUV will also come in a variety of colour options, including Nordic Forest Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic.

More features added to the new SUV
Honda has also added several new features to the Elevate facelift. The SUV now gets front ventilated seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat and rear ventilated seats.
Other features include a 360-degree camera, electric sunroof, lane watch camera and a six-speaker sound system.
The updated Elevate is offered in SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+ variants. Honda has spread the new features across the range, with higher variants getting more equipment.

Safety gets a major focus
Safety is another area where Honda has introduced changes. The facelifted model gets Level 2 ADAS, which has brought a number of driver assistance features to the SUV.
The SUV also gets six airbags as standard. CVT variants are fitted with rear disc brakes, while an electric parking brake is also available.
The 360-degree camera and lane watch camera are aimed at making parking and driving in tight spaces easier for users.
Same petrol engine with manual and CVT
The Honda Elevate facelift is retaining a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. The engine outputs at 119 hp of power and 145 Nm of peak torque.
Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic gearbox. Honda has therefore retained the same basic powertrain while focusing on design, features and safety upgrades.
With its updated styling, added features and starting price of Rs 11.80 lakh, the new Elevate enters a highly competitive segment. It will rival against the likes of the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Grand Vitara and Victoris.
