Bihar Cabinet Meeting: Bihar Cabinet has increased the honorarium of homeguards from ₹ 774 to ₹ 1121 per day. The new order will get more than ₹ 30,000 salary to the soldiers working throughout the month.
Bihar cabinet meeting decisions: CM Nitish Kumar is taking decisions in the election year. In this series, the Chief Minister has given a big gift to the home guards of the state on Tuesday (September 02). In the cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, it was decided to increase the honorarium of home guards of Bihar Home Defense Corps. After the decision taken in the cabinet meeting, now a proposal has been passed to increase the honorarium of Home Guard jawans from ₹ 774 to ₹ 1121 per work.
Will get more than 30 thousand rupees salary
This order will be effective from the date of issuance. Let us tell you that at present, the home guard soldiers of Bihar are paid ₹ 774 per day. After the new order is implemented, they will get increased honorarium i.e. Rs 1121 per function. As soon as this order is implemented, if the Home Guard jawans work for the whole month, then they will get more than 30 thousand rupees. Expressing happiness over this, the people of Bihar Home Defense Corps Swayamsevak Sangh distributed laddus by putting Abir-Gulal.

Home guard demands fulfilled
Homeguards had been demanding to increase honorarium for a long time. Recently, in Bhagalpur, Home Guard jawans took to the streets to demand an increase in salary. Apart from Bhagalpur, Home Guard soldiers also participated in this demonstration in Ara and Chapra. During this time a large number of Home Guard jawans took out a procession and shouted slogans against the government. The protesting soldiers said that the movement will continue until their demand is met. Now the government has accepted their demand and decided to increase the honorarium.
