Hindustan Zinc shares closed 3.74% higher at Rs 661.2 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,79,378.09 crore on BSE on Monday, January 19. The stock had dipped to an intraday low of Rs 648.50 per share and an intraday high of Rs 667.40 per share on Monday.

Hindustan Zinc Net Profit

Hindustan Zinc reported a surge in its net consolidated profit to Rs 3,916 crore in Q3FY26, up from Rs 2,678 crore reported in the same quarter a year ago. The silver producer had reported a surge in its net consolidated revenue to Rs 10,627 crore during the quarter under review. The Vedanta subsidiary had reported a net revenue of Rs 8,315 crore reported in the year-ago period.

Hindustan Zinc Q3 Result: EBITDA Margin, Other Info

Hindustan Zinc reported a 55% EBITDA Margin, and an EBITDA of Rs 6,087 crore. The EBITDA of the company during the quarter jumped around 36% on a QoQ basis and around 34% on a year on year (YoY) basis driven by increased production, higher zinc and silver prices, lower cost of production and strong dollar, and higher by-product realisations. The EBITDA was up to Rs 14,415 crores, up 14% YoY (Year on year) for nine months.

Hindustan Zinc Q3 Revenue

The company’s revenue stood at Rs 10,980 crores during the quarter, up around 28% on a quarter on quarter (QoQ) basis and around 27% year-on-year (YoY). The surge in revenue was driven by higher commodity prices, increased production, and a strong dollar. It was Rs 27,300 crores during the nine months, up 9% YoY.

Hindustan Zinc Q3 Result: Segment Wise Revenue

In terms of segment wise performance, Hindustan Zinc’s Q3 sales of Zinc stood at Rs 221 crore, compared to Rs 259 crore in the same quarter in previous quarter. The company’s revenue from silver segment jumped significantly to Rs 2676 crore against Rs 1465 crore. The company had reported a revenue of Rs 7932 crore in Q3FY26 against Rs 6,832 crore in the year-ago period.

Hindustan Zinc Q3 Result: Update on Project

The company finished cellhouse debottlenecking at Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter. The 510 Ktpa Fertiliser plant is expected to be completed in the first quarter of FY27. Precious Metal Portfolio Surged To Record High

Hindustan Zinc reported a sharp surge in its precious metal portfolio during the quarter under review. The contribution of precious metals portfolio jumped around 48% during the quarter under review.

“Hindustan Zinc delivered a record financial performance for the quarter and nine months, with 3Q. Profit after taxes surging 48% sequentially to an all-time high of Rs 3,916 crore, driven by highest-ever revenue and EBITDA. The contribution of our precious metal portfolio to profits rose to 44% during the quarter,” stated Sandeep Modi, Chief Financial Officer.
