The Chief Minister also announced that the state government will soon recruit 800 constables in the police department.

Taking aim at the Central Government’s ‘Agniveer’ scheme, the Chief Minister said that his government will give priority to those youth who return after serving Agniveer. Referring to the reforms in education and health sector, the Chief Minister claimed that Himachal, which had slipped to 21st place in the education ranking during the previous BJP government, has now reached fifth place. He said that AIIMS like technology would be made available in all regional hospitals including Tanda Medical College within a year.
