PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday conducted an aerial survey of flood affected areas of Himachal Pradesh. He announced assistance of Rs 1500 crore. The families of those killed in floods and rain related incidents will be given assistance of Rs 2 lakh.
Narendra Modi Himachal Pradesh Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Himachal Pradesh, which was facing floods on Tuesday. He conducted aerial survey of the floods affected by floods and rain. In Kangra, a meeting with the state government officials held a meeting and assessed the damage caused by the flood. The PM announced the assistance of Rs 1500 crore to the state.

The families of those killed due to floods and rain will get 2 lakh rupees
The Prime Minister has announced financial assistance of Rs 1500 crore for flood and rain -affected areas of Himachal Pradesh. He announced a help of Rs 2 lakh to the families of those killed due to floods and rains. The injured will get an ex -gratia amount of Rs 50,000. The PM met the affected families and expressed his condolences. He also met NDRF, SDRF and disaster friend volunteers.

SDRF and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will get the second installment first
The PM said that the second installment of SDRF and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released in advance. He called upon the entire region and people to adopt a multi -faceted approach to bring back the lives again. This work will be done in many ways. Homes will be rebuilt through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. National highways and schools will be re -built. Relief will be given under PMNRF. Mini kit will be released for livestock.

Damaged houses will be geotaging
The PM said that additional assistance will be given to those farmers who do not currently have electricity connections. Geotagings of damaged houses will be done under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This will help to accurately assess the loss and provide help to the affected people soon.
