New Delhi: Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim’s ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq has levelled shocking allegations against him after his second marriage. Imad tied the knot for the second time just weeks after his divorce with Sannia, who has now accused him of being a ‘murderer’. Sannia took to social media to level serious allegations against the former Pakistan all-rounder.
Sannia’s allegations came after Imad announced his second marriage to Nyla Raja Zulfiqar this week. The all-rounder, who retired from international cricket in December 2024, said the decision to remarry was taken “thoughtfully” and with the intention to “build a life rooted in peace, stability and mutual respect”.
Imad’s announcement of his second marriage with Nyla has come just weeks after his divorce with his ex-wife Sannia, triggering a controversy. On Monday, Sannia took to her Instagram account to level shocking allegations on Imad, claiming the cricketer got her aborted in Lahore. She labelled him a ‘murderer’ and said she has video proof.
Sannia also slammed Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United for signing Imad for the upcoming season of the league, stating that no murderer or cheater should get an “escape”.
“In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me. @islamabadunitedpsl has given a chance to a murderer and a cheater. #boycottislamabadunited no cheater or murderer should get an escape,” Imad’s ex-wife Sannia wrote in an Instagram post.

Imad Wasim’s second marriage spirals into controversy
Imad and Sannia tied the knot in August 2019 and are parents to three children. In December last year, Imad announced that he was filing for divorce and was separating from his ex-wife due to “repeated conflicts”. Requesting privacy at the time, Imad urged people not to engage in speculation.
Sannia also confirmed their divorce in a statement, but alleged that the development was due to the involvement of a “third party”. At the time, there were speculations of Imad being involved with Nyla, however, both denied claims of a relationship. Sannia has accused Imad of cheating and Nyla of being a ‘homewrecker’ in several comments and posts on her social media accounts.

Nyla Raja is a lawyer and digital content creator from Pakistan. She is quite popular on social media for her videos on legal awareness, fashion and lifestyle. She reportedly worked for Imad in the past, and the cricketer had an extra-marital affair with Nyla before divorcing his first wife Sannia. With Imad still beig an active cricketer, the contoversy has been garnerning limelight on social media in Pakistan.
